About Me
Hello! My name is Flinn, but you can call me Hail if you’d like or oh so prefer! OH HO! I am a 19 year old traditional artist from the US whose been doing traditional most of my life. I hail from Long Island in the state of New York. I’ve graduated from The Stony Brook School in 2020 and plan on attending an art school to receive a formal art education in the near future as well as learn digital art.I’ve been doing traditional art for around 15 years now. My preferred medium is pencils and pens but I also do a little bit of everything else. I believe trying out new mediums and experimenting with different styles is a great way to grow as an artist, and I always aim for the high of creating something with my own two hands that I can call my own. Art in itself has done a lot for me throughout my life, it’s provided for me a way to express myself and bring out my emotion onto a canvas when I had no one to turn to. It has been the only thing that has really stuck with me throughout the years ,and I am still as passionate about art as I was 15 years ago. For me, Art is an Escape. I currently work 2 jobs: I assist some art instructors at an art studio in Syosset and work part-time in an ice cream shop in Copaigue. However, I always try to put aside time to create art for myself and others whenever I am able.~I love experimenting with different styles of art, and I’m always willing to step up to the challenge of trying something new and outside of my comfort zone! I can do anything from still-lifes, object-studies, animal portraits, landscapes, and character arts! Once again, my name is Flinn and I look forward to working with you! It is a Pleasure!
